What is a 180/360 degree flower arrangement?

An arrangement that can be enjoyed from any angle has a 360 degree view.

A 180 degree arrangement would generally be placed up against a wall or viewed only from a 180 degree angle.

Why Hire?

A new option for events, particularly Funerals, Memorials and End of Life Celebrations….. Events where florals are required for a short amount of time, well designed quality artificial arrangements are a cost saving and convenient.  We deliver to your nominated venue promptly to your specified time and assist with placement to your satisfaction.  After your event, we collect your hired products. As we do the handling, there is no bond required from you.  We are confident in providing you ease in what can be a very busy and stressful time.

 

Why are dates blocked out on the calendar?

At times, we reach full capacity, or are unavailable or take leave.

From time to time we may be closed and apologize for any inconvenience. Please check the calendar for any public holiday deliveries.

Can I organize with you to have an artificial arrangement gift wrapped and delivered outside of the southern areas?

Yes. 48 hours notice is required and may be sent via courier, freight cost to be calculated depending on delivery location.

Do you deliver to churches, hospitals and aged care facilities?

Yes. Please provide a room number and the flower arrangement will be delivered directly to your recipient and not left at reception.

Do you deliver to a graveside, memorial garden or funeral home?

Yes. Please provide an exact location in your message to us. Upon request your flower arrangement can be photographed and either text or emailed to you for peace of mind.

Which suburbs do you deliver to?

Please refer to the postcode information area on the home page or any product page. If your suburb is not present, you will not be able to proceed past checkout.  Please contact us to discuss delivery options for your required area.

Can I have a free card included with my delivery?

Yes. We have standard note cards with envelopes for birthdays, anniversaries, baby boy/girl, sympathy, Christmas and Valentine’s Day. Hand written in print, they are generally propped in the flower arrangement.

Do we cater for weddings?

Sorry no… As an online florist shop our capacity to serve the extent of a wedding event is not viable.

What is the difference between long lasting and everlasting flower arrangements?

Long lasting is an artificial piece, either fabric or soft-feel plastic, a gift that keeps on giving.
Everlasting are real flowers that have undergone a freeze drying process changing from ice to vapour without going through a liquid state. They do not lose their form or colour and their life expectancy is much longer than a fresh flower.

How do I enter the draw to win a bunch of fresh flowers?

Select the option on the checkout page and you will automatically be entered into the monthly draw, drawn on the last Friday of each month. Prize is to the value of $50, not redeemable for cash. The monthly prize winner will be notified by phone or email and have 7 days total to advise their preferred day of delivery (Wednesday to Sunday), preferred date and delivery address. Fresh Flower Deliveries:

We supply fresh flowers of the best quality possible.  If they aren’t to a high standard  they won’t be utilized in your arrangement. If however a quality control situation arises, please email us a photograph within 24 hours of the delivery and we will speak with you as soon as possible. All deliveries are photographed at the time of delivery.

Please note, fresh flower deliveries authorized to be left unattended are not refundable whether due to theft or damage to extreme weather conditions

Delivery Information:

Can I organize a delivery for a specific time frame?

Special event deliveries will be scheduled for your nominated time, with a 30 minute margin for unforeseen circumstances.

What happens if the delivery recipient is not available at the time of delivery?

If you would like the delivery to be rescheduled, please advise on the checkout page.

SFD does not accept liability for any loss or damage rising from items stolen or damaged after delivery has taken place.

An additional delivery fee of $15 is applicable if a re-delivery has to be made due to one of the following reasons:

  • Insufficient or incorrect address information
  • Apartment buildings with restricted access and no one home
  • Places with no sheltered or safe area to leave the flower arrangement and no one home
  • Inaccessible homes, units or business premises with no one present
  • Patient has already been discharged from hospital

Do you have a shop to visit?

No. We are an online shop only
